Bride-to-be Claire Danes has opened up about her joy at knowing she will soon marry her "patootie", British actor Hugh Dancy. The My So Called Life star admitted that staying monogamous takes "rigor and discipline and selflessness" - but insists with hunky Hugh it was easier. "He's such a cute patootie. Sometimes I forget just how good-looking he is," she gushed. Admitting that she feared she was "going into dangerous territory" by talking about their relationship so openly, Danes then said: "While relationships are work, this just didn't feel like it. It's the kind of work that feels energizing rather than enervating." Danes, 30, added: "I've always wanted to be in a partnership. I've always wanted to have that kind of intimacy and collaborate with someone in such a deep way." Danes revealed that she is having her wedding dress made by one of her favourite designers, Narciso Rodriguez, and admits that the process has proven "surprisingly emotional". "I've known Narciso since I was 16," she explained. "He's made a lot of dresses with - and for - me. So it's really special that this time it's THE dress."
