The Queen taking the salute as the Scots Guards marched past at Buckingham Palace after the Trooping the Colour ceremony on the Horse Guards Parade marking her official birthday. Mounted on Burmese, the black mare presented to her by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Queen is wearing the scarlet tunic of the Scots Guards with dark blue riding habit and a black tricorn hat. The Colour of the 2nd Battalion Scots Guards was trooped.
