Mandatory Credit: Photo by Derek Blair / Rex Features (1017482i) Frank Stone and Alfie Fripp next to Tunnel Harry Veterans of the Stalag Luft III prisoner of war camp visit the site in Zagan, Poland - 24 Mar 2009 POWs from Poland's Stalag Luft 3 concentration camp in the town of Zagan return to the scene of the famous movie 'The Great Escape' that told the story of the escape from the camp that saw 76 men escape. 23 were captured and returned, 50 were caught and shot, and 3 made it to Britain. Frank Stone, 86, was a POW in the camp at the time of the escape, number 215, so was scheduled to be in the next round of 200. Alfie Fripp, 94, was a key member in the digging and planning of the escape but was shipped out 3 months before the escape.
