Cyprus, Nicosia - May 29, 2024 - Portrait of Stavros Ignatiou; when he was 13 years old he was forced to abandon the house they had in the north of the island with his family, when in 1974 there was the invasion of the Turkish army following clashes between Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots. He has never returned to see his house again and does not want revenge or requests for reimbursement, he just wants there to be stable peace. He currently directs the "Nicosia Mercy center2 for assistance to refugees on the island.
