Australia, Queensland, Cape Cleveland, July 23, 2017 Research Technician Lonidas Koukoumaftsis of Australia (left, aged 32 years) places a coral, Pocillopora acuta, into a holding tank at the Australian Institue of Marine Science as Intern Manon Briendo of France (aged 21 years) looks on. The coral was collected from the Great Barrier Reef to assist in research aimed at overcoming coral bleaching due to rising ocean temperatures.
