CAN YOU guess what these mesmerising "art" masterpieces REALLY are?
From Shark Bay in West Australia and Kalbarri to New Zealand and South Island, these vibrant AERIAL images cover the most magnificent topography of Australia and New Zealand.
Many of the images were taken at speeds of up to 124mph from a 30-foot wingspan Cessna 172 aircraft using large sensor cameras.
These fascinating images were captured by Scott Jon McCook, an aerial photographer from West Australia.
“Aerial photography from aircraft is quite a difficult thing to master and requires a sound knowledge of camera and camera craft to ensure you come back with the maximum amount of ‘keepers’ from an hour’s flight,” he said.
“In most cases within the West Australian outback, we use a very old Cessna aircraft doing around 111-124 miles an hour with the door off.
“There is a lot of wind and bouncing around, which I had to combat with camera settings, and often push the limits and capabilities of the camera to get nice clean and sharp images.
“I am addicted to aerial photography. I started about 10 years ago, and it quickly became my main dopamine fix.
“The feeling of staring right down onto your subject and seeing nature in all its vastness is just pure bliss.”
