Judge James A. Boyle, shown in this 1969 photo. On April 29, 1970, Judge Boyle said in an inquest report on the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, that he doubted Sen. Edward Kennedy's public account on television about circumstances leading to the accident in which Miss Kopechne died. Specifically, the judge questioned the wrong turn that Kennedy said he made onto a narrow bridge, and that Kennedy and Kopechne intended to leave Chappaquiddick Island. Exact date and location of photo are unknown. (AP Photo)
