Valued at Ј61million, David Hockney's pool goes on display in London - before it makes a splash at auction. One of David Hockney’s most recognisable paintings has gone on show in London for just three days before it is sold in the US for an expected record-breaking sum.
His Portrait Of An Artist (Pool With Two Figures), 1972, is at Christie’s in St James’s from today, before it is taken to Los Angeles and then New York for the sale on November 15. David Hockney Painting - Portrait of An Artist (Pool with Two Figures).
