PHOTO: EAST NEWS CENTRUM LOTOW KOSMICZNYCH KENNEDY NA FLORYDZIE The US space shuttle Atlantis is moved around early 13 August 2000 to high bay 2 of the Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center in Florida for a fit check in the newly renovated bay as part of the "Safe Haven" program to offer additional cover for the US shuttle fleet in case of hurricanes. Upon completion of the check, Atlantis will be moved to launch pad 39-B (visible top right) in preparation for the planned 08 September launch on a mission to the International Space Station.
