Vietnamese look over the aftermath of a car bombing in front of the Hotel de Ville in Saigon, Indochina, Jan. 9, 1952. Four people, including two French residents, were killed when the car bombs, planted by Viet Minh terrorists, exploded in Saigon's Place de Theatre. The explosion occurred when sidewalk cafes were crowded with French and Vietnamese people sipping noontime aperitifs. Thirty six others were wounded in the attack.
