This is a deposit slip which accompanied exchange of $2,980 of Lindbergh ransom money for silver certificates, referred to by Frank Wilson, Federal agent, in testimony he offered at Flemington, N.J., Jan. 11, 1935, at the trial of Bruno R. Hauptmann. The mysterious exchange took place at the New York Federal Reserve Bank the day the gold embargo went into effect. It came to light last September, a few days after Hauptmann's arrest.
