Pulled by a truck, the very first train in nearly three years, carrying some 150 people, leaves Sarajevo with skyline seen in the background, enroute to the Western Suburb of Ali Pasino Polje, about three miles away, Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1995. The 1,000 days of war is counted by Sarajevans from when the last train left the Bosnian Capital on May 2, 1992. On Wednesday, after repair work done by U.N. peacekeepers on war-damaged rails, the first train pulled out restoring some sort of normalcy to the besieged city. (AP Photo/Jean-Marc Bouju)
