Some 1, 800 tons of humanitarian goods lay in warehouses and mud at the airport in Sarajevo on Sunday, Feb. 12, 1995. Angered by the detention of an ethnic Serb- UNHCR worker by the Bosnian police, Bosnian Serbs closed all roads into Sarajevo for humanitarian aid. There is no room for the humanitarian aid at the airport as the goods cannot be transported to the town, which has forced UNHCR to temporarily shut down the humanitarian air-lift.
