Windlesham Moor, the residence of their Royal Highnesses the Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, is seen at the end of the drive with the gardens shown on either side. The estate is pictured on May 26, 1948 during a public opening of the gardens in aid of the Surrey County Nursing Association under the auspices of the National Gardens scheme. This is the first time the Gardens of Windlesham Moor, in Surrey, England have been opened to the public since their royal Highnesses took up residence at the end of January 1948. (AP Photo)
