The Exterior of the National Lumber and Millwork company???s lumber yard in the Bronx, New York on Sept. 24, 1934, where it is alleged Bruno R. Hauptmann, charged with having received the Lindbergh ransom money, bought the lumber which he used in making the ladder used in the actual kidnapping. The allegation was made after a study conducted by the U.S. Forest Products laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin. C.P. Winslow, Director of the laboratory, said that many months of special investigations by Arthur Koehler of the Laboratory staff preceded the actual tracing of the ladder wood to the Bronx Yard.
