President Herbert Hoover and Mrs. Lou Hoover will find little change in their home atop San Juan Hill, Stanford University Campus, in Palo Alto, California where they will return to in November 1932. The home is in order and occupied by Mrs. Hoover's sister, Mrs. Jean Large. This photograph, showing the front entreance to their home, was made Nov. 2, 1932. It was here, four years ago, that President Hoover accompanied by members of his family, greeted a cheering crowd in the early morning hours when it had become apparent that he had been elected.
