The movie "Gone With the Wind," went into production in Hollywood, the night of December 10, 1938 when Selznick studios set fire to a number of old sets on its lot to make room for its new epic. The blaze will appear in the finished picture as the burning by Confederates of 81 boxcars loaded with munition to keep them from falling into General Sherman's hands. Here is a general view of the fire as the cameras turned. (AP Photo)
