Russian specialists prepare EADS made meteorological satellite MetOp for a launch with Russian made Soyuz-2 rocket booster at Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006. The launch is scheduled for Oct. 17. Russia's state-controlled Vneshtorgbank has bought a 5-percent stake in Airbus parent EADS, but Russia met resistance from the company when it voiced interest in acquiring a larger share. Russia, France and Germany have set up an expert commission to examine the issue. (AP Photo )
