Half a dozen mechanics have been working long hours trying to complete a plane, Aug. 29, 1932 for G.H. Gotch to fly in the speed race between Los Angeles and Cleveland. The plane, smallest entered in the race, has a 65-horsepower motor and carries about 24 gallons of gasoline.
