A very dishevelled and unhealthy-looking Pete Doherty appeared at Gloucester Crown Court this morning to stand trial for his charge of dangerous driving, having originally pleaded not guilty back in October.
The charge relates to an incident on June 11th, when the Babyshambles frontman was stopped by police after he was spotted driving a Mercedes erratically after a concert at the Gloucester Guildhall.
The singer-songwriter also faces further charges of drink driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
However, things went from bad to worse when Pete was arrested by police after drugs were allegedly found on his person as he tried to re-enter the courtroom.
