This composite of 4 axial (cross sectional) contrast enhanced T1 weighted images of the brain shows a large meningioma in the subtemporal region of the right (on your left) middle cranial fossa. This is one of the most common intracranial neoplasms. This tumor is extra-axial (arises outside of the substance of the brain) in origin. These are usually benign, non-aggressive tumors but can have significant effects on the neurologic status of the person depending upon its location.
