Two teenage gang members jailed for stabbing, Southend, UK - 18 Jul 2019 Teenager Abdi Hashi, 19, has been jailed for 13 years for being one of three teenage gang members who chased a member of a rival gang "like a pack of wolves" throughs the streets of Southend into Westcliff-on-Sea train station armed with knives and a machete until they cornered him on a waiting train and stabbed him six times in the neck, chest and leg. The attack bears the all hallmarks of 'The Tally Up challenge,' where gang members score points for stabbing rival gang members on different parts of the body. A 17-year-old, who was armed with the machete, and cannot be named for leagal reasons, was jailed for eight-and-a half years at Basildon Crown Court. The third attacker has not been identified and arrested.
