Pweto, Congo - Around five o???clock in the afternoon, these fishermen prepare to go out fishing on Lake Mweru. They use floating oil lamps to attract small fish at night. Every fisherman has a special task: steer the boat, fill the lamps, set the lamps afloat or cast the nets. And then they must wait, against the magical backdrop of thousands of floating lights. By morning they return to land with their catch. The fish, a sardine-like variety, are a delicacy sold as far away as Lubumbashi.
