(1/18/2017) Lake Tana, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. Interior of a restaurant. The men kill the hours next to an old television. The injera is the typical dish and is found in any restaurant, bar and in all the houses. The injera is the Ethiopian bread. It has a very characteristic and special sour taste. It is made with teff flour (the teff is a local cereal - without gluten - of very small grains, which is very difficult to find outside Ethiopia). The injera is shaped like a large French crepe.
