(1/28/2017) Nakuto lab rock church, Amhara region, Lalibela, Ethiopia. A woman kisses the cuz of a priest in the church of Nakuto Lab, on the outskirts of Lalibela. At 2,400 meters above sea level, on the Ethiopian plateau, to the north of Addis Ababa, is this small monastic town (the second city of Ethiopia considered Santa), known in antiquity as Roha, and changed its name after being conquered in the Century XIII by the monarch Gebra Maskal Lalibela, who "baptized" it like Lalibela.
