The huge Ruhy Mosk in the village of Kipchak, the biggest mosk of Central Asia, has been built by order of the former president Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Niyazov. On the minarets and inside the dome are quotes from Ruhnama, the Book of the Soul, written by Niyazov himself. Above the entrance an inscription says: Ruhnama is a Holy Book. The Koran is the Book of God. Next to the mosk is the mausoleum where Niyazov is buried.
