Apr 23, 2008, Beijing, China, Workers debuge the railroad car which was brought in the early morning at the Qianmen Avenue, an ancient shopping area which is under renovation. The avenue is being reconstructed as a pedestrian-only street reminiscent of its prosperity during the Ming and Qing dynasties hundreds of years ago. The project started in April, 2007 and is scheduled to be completed in May this year. Thirteen traditional brands, including the Quanjude renowned for Peking Roast Duck, will resume their business in the street. The street will open to the public before the Beijing Olympic Games.
