Painting on wall by aboriginal artist Queenie Mackenzie Nakarra in bedroom with antique quilt from Bihar, India London's leading gallery owner, Rebecca Hossack, doesn't believe in decorating - rather she believes in a creating a big, white space in which to display her paintings and numerous collections of antique and ethnic textiles and objects from round the world. It's no surprise that Rebecca, who brought aboriginal art to the attention of Britain, has a house crammed full of treasures - sumptuous textiles from Ghana and India, earthenware figures from Ethiopia, Berber talismans from Marrackesh, African basketware figures and sculpture, and jewellery, bags and belts from all over Africa.
