Christmas at the country home of textile designer Kate Forman Grey Sophia wallpaper by Kate Forman in bedroom with French antique cane bed, floral bedding and Genevieve cushion also by Kate Forman Kate Forman's home in the Hampshire countryside is furnished with antiques and country furniture and decorated with her own fabrics and wallpapers. Formerly an antiques dealer, the inspiration for her range was based on the vintage fabrics she'd bought over the years at auctions and fairs. In 2003 she changed direction and launched her own collection and now has two shops, one in Clarendon Cross W11 and another in Alresford, Hants near to where she lives with her husband Jake (financial director of the business), and the couple's three children. The family home is an unpretentious, book-filled farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. Kate's innate flair for combining pattern, colour and texture together with her talent for curtain design and sourcing decorative artifacts has resulted in a home that glows with warmth and understated elegance.
