Tourists take photos of the 'Lion of Amphipolis' statue, in Amphipolis, some 600km north of Athens, on August 24, 2013.The Lion of Amphipolis, a burial monument of the 4th century B.C. was restored near the position it was discovered, next to the west bank of the Strymon river. According to archaeologists the Lion of Amphipolis was part of a big burial site from the 4th century B.C. which was recently excavated, and the statue was placed in the middle at the highest point of the tomb.
