Cadogan Corner overlooking Hackney's Victoria Park and the Olympic site consists of three newly built terraced houses designed by architectural and interior design practice Kyson. The properties received the Alan King Award from Chartered Institute of Architect Technologists and was a Finalist for World Architectural News' New Build House of the Year. The properties were designed to offer a contemporary interpretation of the Victorian terrace to which they adjoin and are clad in black Douglas Fir strips that have been mechanically wire brushed and vacuum stained to give a greater depth to the timber's natural grain.
