Adele wants to hit the road for a new tour, after the release of her third album. But that may mean fans having to wait another 18 months. The delighted star is also gunning for an EGOT ??" which is the American awards whammy of an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony. Upbeat Adele feels she is ready to return to the studio before going on the road, which will likely be next year. The Tottenham born singer had to cancel her last tour after suffering nodules on her vocal chords. She needed life threatening surgery to repair the issues, and couldn???t sing or talk for three months. However she bounced back last year with a show stopping performance of Rolling In The Deep at the Grammys. Adele confirmed: ??sI absolutely plan on touring. ??sI was meant to be doing this, but then my throat happened and then I got knocked up, so I couldn???t do it. ??sI will be doing it. I am not sure when, but when a new record comes; when I write a new record. And I can???t wait. ??sI am planning on touring and I will be doing it ??sAbsolutely I can???t wait.??? Adele spoke on US TV after winning the Golden Globe for best theme tune to Skyfall. She has started tunes for her new CD and will sing her nominated tune Skyfall next month at the Oscar ceremony. New mum Adele reckons that her goal is to win the Oscar, before matching Whoopi Goldberg???s achievement of the EGOT. ??sThe next step is an EGOT so I have got to go to Broadway and have a TV show. I am going to do a Whoopi.??? Adele???s victory has still not sunk in: ??sThis is weird and special because this is not my field. Meryl Streep has these, Julianne Moore has these, Danel Day Lewis..and I have one now.??? Adele revealed that Sony and MGM movie bosses are over the moon with her work on Skyfall ??" and even kept talking about it at their table at the Globes. The movie has made over a billion dollars at the box office. ??sI am not made that aware of sales and figures, and I got reminded of it when I sat with Sony. ??sThe script was exciting, I normally write about my misery, and this time I wrote a song according to someone???s script and that was challenging and great. ??sI took the risk and it is out of my comfort zone. It is beyond anything I have ever thought of. ??sI would have been proud if the movie did nothing. ??sI am lucky and everyone is so kind to receive my art, so lovely. ??sI was worried at the peak of my career and the success of my album, people wouldn???t enjoy but luckily they did.
