Complete with its own small flock of sheep, this traditional shepherds hut on wheels is situated on top of a Wiltshire hillside. Now a glamp (glamourous camping) it was initially a playroom for Diana's daughter Cordelia but now that she is at university studying to be a vet like her father, the hut became Diana's retreat where, for an hour or two at the end of the working day she likes to unwind with a book and a glass of wine. Facilities for glampers are charmingly rustic - a puffing billy stove made from an old oil drum is used for open air cooking and there's a large farmhouse table for bucolic meals in the country air. Inside, there's a woodburning stove and beneath the double platform bed there is space for the vintage gingham covered day bed and a comfy armchair where glampers can relax in the lantern light after a day of walking, riding or exploring; Bath, Wells and Frome are all within easy driving distance. Along with luxurious accommodation for horses and ponies in the nearby stable block (Diana and her daughter are both keen riders hence the rosettes) there is a hot shower and loo for happy glampers.
