A tiger climbing the side of a bus in order to reach some food
Climbing tigers attempt to get food at Jiufeng Forestry Zoo, Wuhan, Hubei province, China - Jan 2010
Tigers are not supposed to climb buses, but it would seem that someone forgot to tell this one that. The tigers from the Jiufeng Forestry Zoo in Wuhan have turned to acrobatics in a quest to bag more food. In order to entertain guests a bus is driven through the tiger's enclosure with a tasty piece of meat dangling out of one of the windows, tantalisingly out of reach. The tigers have learned that if they climb the nearby trees they're able to snatch the tasty treat. As such many of the animals can now climb the trunk of an upright pine in just a few seconds. However, not satisfied with that one particularly athletic tiger has also taken to using the bus itself as a springboard - launching itself off the side in order to leap into the air and nab the meat on offer.
