Haha seals
THE MOMENT a mother and pup pair of grey seals are snapped sharing a laugh together.
Hilarious images appear to show the seal mum falling about laughing as her pup seems to deliver a funny joke.
Other images show a close-up of the white-coloured grey seal pup exploding into laughter.
Additional shots reveal tender moments between the two seals as they cuddle up together. In a different picture mum places a protective hand on her baby’s head.
The pictures were taken at Donna Nook Nature Reserve where the grey seals have returned to their breeding ground.
Donna Nook is a point on the low-lying coast of north Lincolnshire, England and is recognised as an important area for wildlife conservation.
The grey seal population return to breed here from October to December every year.
The last noted births of grey seals were in 2018 when 2,066 pups were born at Donna Nook.
Photographer Martin Goff, a Police CSI, and a passionate wildlife photographer from Rossendale, Lancashire, captured these images.
“This was the first time I'd been able to photograph the seals at Donna Nook and it was an amazing experience to see them so close up,” he told mediadrumworld.com.
“I loved the interaction between the mother seal and pup, it was so beautiful.
“I used OM System OM1ii camera and 40-150mm lens with 1 4x teleconverter to capture these moments.”
