Italian shipyard Rossinavi has created the Seqolf X, the first catamaran powered by Artificial Intelligence.
The 140-foot aluminium catamaran combines advanced design with cutting-edge technology.
Delivered in August, the hybrid-electric yacht features electric engines, solar panels, diesel generators, and an artificial intelligence system designed to optimise performance and enhance the experience for owners and guests alike.
The Rossinavi AI system, developed in collaboration with Videoworks and the University of Pisa, is a standout feature, monitoring operations, learning guest preferences, and improving efficiency. It can anticipate needs, control energy consumption, and even highlight notable landmarks along the journey. Its interior lighting, also managed by AI, adjusts automatically based on natural light.
The AI also contributes to the environmentally conscious design. Solar panels spanning 1,679 square feet generate power sufficient to sustain an entire villa during harbour stays, while the yacht’s fuel efficiency significantly reduces its environmental impact. It can cross the Atlantic using just 4,000 gallons of diesel, far less than traditional yachts of its size.
The sleek exterior by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design showcases a low profile and fluid hull curvature, while the interior, crafted by New York-based Meyer Davis Studio, exudes Scandinavian-inspired sophistication with natural materials and soft textures.
Seawolf X’s innovative layout includes luxurious living spaces, such as a sunken foredeck with a Jacuzzi, a sea-level beach club with a pool and sauna, and a 1,399-square-foot sundeck ideal for socialising. Inside, a full-beam main salon and dining area feature cream sofas and leather seating, while the owner’s suite offers a private office, gym, and terrace.
Now available for charter through Cecil Wright, Seawolf X represents a new era in yachting.
