Barely sticking the landing, ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND, HILARIOUS IMAGES of a duck turning a slippery crash-landing into a perfect graceful slide have been captured. Pictures show the mallard coming in hard and losing his footing as he lands on the iced over water. He quickly composes himself and turns the disaster in to victory slide. Other images show mottled ducks suffering from the same struggle to land on the ice, while others have decided to play it safe and keep as still as possible to manage the slippery conditions. These icy images were captured by offshore oil and gas tank cleaner Mark Deans (37) from Aberdeen Scotland who was interviewed by mediadrumworld.com. Mark captured the action at Walker Dam, Aberdeen Scotland on his canon r6 with a sigma 150-600. “The sliding in shot is my favourite so far,” said Mark. “I saw the ducks sliding in for the nuts I was feeding them. “I have a new camera and its good practice for smaller birds. “The walker dam is full of ducks there and kingfisher is also there to but with the snow it's really hard to spot. “I love the fact you can see all the details on the ducks when they are in flight.” ENDS.
