New aerial photos show how Leonardo DiCaprio has finally completed extensive renovations to his stunning Hollywood Hills compound – just in time for his 50th birthday! The Oscar winner and famed eco warrior, who marks that milestone on November 11, has been overhauling the property in recent years in order to bring it up to par with his environmental friendly standards and these images show how it’s all come together – albeit presumably at great expense. An abundance of cactus plans – favored by environmentalists as they require such little water – can be seen all across the property, along with other drought resistant plants and a very small lawn. The roof is full of eco friendly solar panels. Leo also has a personal spa getaway at the base of his home that has been built into the hill, boasting a sunken hot tub, private one-person sauna and relaxing cedar wood chairs. He also has a large telescope at the end of his pool where he can soak in glorious views of the city and surrounding landscape, plus a very large fire pit with sunken bullt-in seating around it along with sun loungers, umbrellas and a lavish customized king sized day bed – perfect for entertaining guests and his current girlfriend, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, 26. Other eye catching features include a large room built under the pool that overlooks the hills and Leo has a personal basketball and tennis court combo. There is also a relaxing zen garden built into the hill with a Hindu Ganesha statue and stone fountain. Leo purchased the residence – which is next door to fellow Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves – over two decades ago for $2.5 million and he has also acquired several properties on the same hill. These aerials also reveal how Keanu is ripping up and renovating his own pool, right after Leo has just completed his own pool repairs.
