Former electrician turned Jeff Bezos lookalike left 'embarrassed' as fans mock key difference between him and billionaire
A man who moonlights as a Jeff Bezos’ lookalike has revealed his “embarrassment” when fans pointed out a key difference – lack of muscles.
Cagdas Halicilar is the spitting image of the mega-rich Amazon founder, often being mistaken for him in public.
Ditching his job as a former electrician, he now instead cashes in on being his doppelgänger.
But fans have recently spotted a noticeable difference between the two – muscles, well lack thereof.
The 46-year-old, in a bid to truly emulate his “idol”, is now training four times a week with a six-time bodybuilding champion to avoid any “embarrassment”.
“My friends and fans said to me that Jeff Bezos is more muscular and sporty than I am,” Cagdas told What's The Jam.
“I was so embarrassed and knew I had to take action immediately.
“I’ve decided to bring in a bodybuilding champion as my personal trainer, so I can really see the results.
“I’m training hard four times a week so that I can keep myself as fit as Jeff.
“It’s tiring, but so worth it.”
Cagdas, from Leimen, Germany, used to work as an electrician, earning around £21,000 per year.
After becoming “miserable” working long days, he dreamed of becoming a successful billionaire businessman, just like Bezos, who is reportedly worth a whopping $223.3bn (USD) (£175.2bn) according to Forbes.
Now, he earns £855-per-day as a dead ringer, doing guest appearances on television.
And while he used to regularly shave his head to complete the look, he’s now struggling to grow any hair back.
But isn’t interested in the slightest.
He said: “I constantly get offers for hair transplants.
“But I always turn them down.
“Everyone wants hair except me – and Bezos.
“So why would I do that?.
