Cauliflowers are carried by workers using a shoulder pole in a field full of the vegatables. The farmers are busy harvesting cauliflowers in Rangpur, Bangladesh, to get them to early morning markets. Shafiul Alam said, "Cauliflowers are a famous winter vegetable here in Bangladesh and the harvesting of them starts during early winter." "Farmers go to the fields very early in the morning and harvest these cauliflowers. They cut off the layers of leaves and collect the cauliflowers from within. Then they wash these in water and load the piles for selling in markets. Each cauliflower weighs from half a kilogram to three kilograms and will be sold at £1.50 to £2 per kilogram."
