Miss BumBum winner realises 'life-long dream' with best butt award
The Miss BumBum winner of 2024 has revealed it was her “life-long dream” to receive the award of the best butt.
Bruna Dias is a model and influencer with 42,100 fans on Instagram (@brunadiascereja ).
The 29-year-old announced that she had scooped the top prize, after competing in the annual competition and besting 26 other contestants.
“It hasn't sunk in yet that I have the most beautiful butt ever,” Bruna, from Florianópolis, Brazil, told NeedToKnow.
“I'm still in shock.
“The feeling of winning Miss BumBum is incredible, it was a lifelong dream.”
“My presentation was based on a song by the singer Filipe Ret, which promotes freedom in love.
“I won by bringing free love to the stage.
“I live in an open relationship and believe in this philosophy.
“I want to be known for advocating that people should love freely, without prejudice or barriers.”
The contest took place last week (4 October) and involves contestants parading their derriere, often while dancing.
Bruna, who has a 110cm bum, believes that being crowned the winner is about more than just her body.
She said: “You need to be aware that many people will see me, and I need to send a message to these people.
“I want to use my social networks to connect with my fans.
“I feel complete and ready to shine.”
The runners-up were also Tiele Azambuja in second place, and Pamella Michelinny in third place.
With 100cm of bottom, fashion model Tiele Azambuja represented the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
After performing with a dancer, she took off her robe and ended the show dressed as a samba school dancer.
Pamella Michelinny, representing the state of Bahia, boasts a 115cm bottom and works as a fitness model.
She is the first transgender woman to take part in the competition and appeared onstage dressed as a nun, performing a striptease.
