Drink that could end hangovers now clinically proven to work in as little as 30 minutes
A company has launched a drink perfect for those rough nights and mornings we all experience after drinking too much – and it has just been clinically proven to work in as little as 30 minutes.
Known as Safety Shot, the product reportedly accelerates the metabolism of alcohol in the body and ‘reverses’ the unpleasant effects of hangovers.
Clinically proven, the drink contains a blend of vitamins, minerals and botanical ingredients to help you bounce back faster by supporting mental clarity, hydration and overall well-being.
Creators of the drink claim it also reduces blood alcohol concentration (BAC) by supporting the metabolism of alcohol.
Safety Shot announced results earlier this week from a recent clinical trial, which confirmed the speed at which the reduction of BAC works.
Researchers evaluated the blood every 30 minutes along with breathalyser activity.
Within this time, after consuming the product, participants had a significant drop in BAC.
“Safety Shot is the only one of its kind that has been able to clinically prove, on human subjects, remarkable and highly dramatic reductions of alcohol in the blood, along with the increase of specific enzymatic activity associated with liver activity,” says the company’s COO and co-creator, David Sandler.
The product could be the world’s first rapid alcohol reducer.
Participants also reported that they felt much better soon after ingesting it.
They had reduced fatigue, increased energy levels and improvements in concentration.
Safety Shot is currently available to purchase in 12-ounce cans as a pack of four, and will soon be available in four-ounce bottles and on-the-go powder stick packs.
Is this the end of suffering the effects of drinking too much for good? Possibly.
