A daredevil puppy goes paragliding with its owner 5,000 feet above the ground.
Ludovic Gaillard loves jumping off mountains with his 17-month-old puppy, Chaya.
The mini Australian Shepherd takes to the skies after being strapped into a harness and attached to Ludovic.
The 41-year-old and partner, Marie Goodyear, 44, prepared the pup for her first jump by taking her on ski lifts.
Incredible footage shows relaxed Chaya and Ludovic swooping across the Swiss Alps while strapped to a harness.
Ludovic, from Annemasse, northeast of Lyon, France, said: “It’s so fun.
“It’s a different way of sharing an experience with your dog and getting a better connection to her.
“Chaya is so easygoing and accepts a lot of things that we make her do.
“She follows us everywhere on our adventures.
“It’s what I like doing. I like climbing up mountains and going down by paragliding. It’s my passion
“Now she can follow me everywhere. it’s also really funny when we’re above a field of cows and she’s barking at them.’
Adrenaline junkie Ludovic has completed more than 300 leaps and wants to be able to take Chaya with him every time, reports What’s The Jam.
Ludovic said: “There’s still work to do and she’s only one so there’s room for learning more.
“So far the maximum flight Is 15 minutes so I’ll keep training her. It takes time and consistency.
“For training, I need specific conditions such as quiet weather.
“I want to do these activities all year long with her being as free as possible.”
Ludovic and Marie trained Chaya by putting her in the harness to let her get used to the feel of it.
They specifically chose Chaya’s breed when they picked their new pup as they knew they’d want to take her paragliding,
