The myna descends on the squirrels head, CHANDIGARH, INDIA, HILARIOUS IMAGES show a squirrel "in beak trouble" with an angry bird over rights to a tree stump.
Entitled "Beak Trouble in Little Myna" images show the myna bird attempting to eject the Indian Palm squirrel off a stump before pecking at its face.
These comical images were captured by local businessman Anuj Jain (45) in Chandigarh, India on his Nikon Z8 180-600 who was interviewed by mediadrumworld.com.
“There was this very aggressive squirrel that didn't let any other bird come even close to this stump,” said Anuj.
“This myna, somehow landed on this stump and started poking the squirrel.
“The stubborn squirrel still didn't leave the stump and the myna had to ultimately leave the stump.
“I saw this for the first time.
“I found it hilarious and felt lucky to have captured this unique encounter.
“I like the shot where even when the bird is poking the squirrel, the squirrel is still busy eating and is not bothered by the bird.
“Definitely the most unique pairing I have seen in wildlife
“It gives me a chance to showcase some unique encounters.”
