Ans: Some farmers are installing seeds on the ready floating beds here, and some are preparing the floating beds. Using water hyacinth, farmers are preparing the floating soil-free beds, which are locally called “Dhap,” to cultivate vegetables. They bring the water hyacinth using their boats. Almost all beds are ready here; a few are still in the process. Is this method of vegetable farming common in this country? Is there a high demand?
