Dog lovers from all over the UK are flocking to a boozer that serves canines their own dishes from a special mutt-menu.
The Thomas Becket in Canterbury, UK, has been praised by pet owners for its unique hospitality towards pooches.
The ‘Sir Woofchesters’ special menu gives owners the option to sit in the pub with their pup to share a pint and a meal together, reports What’sTheJam (https://whatsthejam.com/).
Barry Reynolds, 46, often takes himself and his best friend, six-year-old orange roan English show cocker spaniel, Murray, over to the cosy boozer.
The director of WP Canterbury, spends his time reviewing pubs in the Canterbury area, hailing this one to be the best for dog owners.
Barry Reynolds, 46, from Folkestone, UK, told What’s The Jam: “We often visit Canterbury and we travel a lot so we are always in dog-friendly pubs.
“We've been to Thomas Becket maybe 10 times, it's a favourite of Murray's.”
The paw-fectly-designed menu features classic pub grub for dogs – such as roast dinners with a chicken drumstick, sausage, peas and carrots served on a bed of chicken with potato dog food.
Pooches can even chow down on an iconic bowl of fish and chips, made from dried sprats, sweet potato fries, peas with salmon and trout dog food.
Each of these main meal items costs a reasonable £5, with other lighter options available.
A section of treat pots that cost £3 each or two for £5 can also be spotted on the menu.
This includes bark burgers, made from beef patties and cheese, and mini chicken sausages.
Another option is the smaller Sunday roast, which is a pot of lamb and mint bones.
Parched pups can even wash down their dinner with £3 pup friendly-beers and mocktails.
