October 30th, 2016: Soc Trang Province, Vietnam: Hau collects recyclable materials from the Khong Nem rac Tuoc Hang rao garbage site for a living. The site is next to the Mekong river in the delta region of Vietnam. Garbage that close to the river poses a serious threat as many toxins seep through the land and into the water which in turn infects crops, fish, and drinking water. Hau is paid fourty four cents for every pound of material delivered.
