Ever since they bought a property opposite the family home in Malibu, Moder has been using it as his 'bachelor pad' and his cars have been ever present outside. In aerial pictures taken in August 2016, again in January, June and now November of this year, Moder's cars are clearly seen on the driveway - he drives a pick-up truck, a white Prius and has a Vespa bike, which he goes out on with his surfing buddies. Meanwhile, Julia's family Land Rover is always parked at the original bluff-cliff Point Dume home they bought in 2003. Cinematographer Moder, 48 - who's barely had a film credit in the last decade - has also had a colossal skatepark built at the new house, which looks ridiculous on their posh celebrity street, whose neighbours include actor pal Sean Penn, and is an eyesore compared to the other beautifully manicured gardens. When Roberts, 49, bought the $6.84 million property in March 2016, no reason was given and it has no direct access to their family home. Earlier this year, they bought a further property - situated on the next street along - for $3.85 million, which looks like a wooden trailer. The three-bed, one-bath property sits on 1,620 sq feet of unkempt, barren grounds and has a mucky backyard. This is rumoured to be used by the nannies and kids when Roberts needs a break.
