(NYT95) NEW YORK -- Jan. 15, 2008 -- NY-FLA-MISSING-WOMAN-2 -- Kendrick L. Williams being escorted out of the 5th precinct in Manhattan on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008. Williams, who the police believe had been living in his car was arrested on Tuesday on charges that he murdered a young Brooklyn woman who disappeared last spring while on vacation in Florida, the authorities said. The police in New York and Miami said that the suspect, Williams, was found reclining and asleep in a Nissan Maxima parked at the Canarsie Pier in Brooklyn at 8 a.m. He was charged with second-degree murder, the Miami-Dade Police Department said.
