*FILE PHOTO*(NYT79) ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Jan. 15, 2008 -- PRAIRIE-HOME-LAWSUIT -- Garrison Keillor in his home in St. Paul, Minn., in May 2006. Keillor, 65, the writer and radio host of "A Prairie Home Companion," filed a lawsuit on Monday against his neighbor Lori Anderson seeking to stop her from building a two-story addition to her house in a historic district here. The addition would nearly double the home's square footage and, according to court papers, would "obstruct the access to light and air" that Keillor's home enjoys and "impair or destroy protected historical resources." On Tuesday, a county district judge assigned a mediator to help the two sides try to resolve the dispute within a week. If that effort fails, the judge will consider ruling in the case.
